The trip that Authentic Cuba Travel® put together for us was fabulous. We all loved David, our Cuban guide. He did an exceptional job. He was there for us at every turn, found quick solutions to the few problems that inevitably came up, was good humored and very informative. Photographing in Cuba is a photographer's paradise. I had an excellent time and very pleased with the tour, hotels, restaurants and the service of our local guide David Camps Rodriguez. First, Roma and I would like to thank Authentic Cuba Travel® for everything you've done to make for a remarkable experience. As artists, we were blown away by the quantity and quality of the art we saw as well as by the professionalism and training of the artists. The Art School was most impressive and easily the best use for a golf course we've ever seen. We did buy some works and are savouring them as we speak. In addition to the art, we did get to interact with the Cuban people and experience the culture, history and get a feel for the current situation. While much was packed into the week we were there, we could have definitely used more time.

By the way, your suggestion that we bring medicines and first aid materials was excellent. We took them to the maternal and infants clinic in old town and gave them to the pharmacist who was genuinely appreciative. Again, than you, Luis, David, Ernesto (our driver) and everyone else involved in making this an experience that delivered more than we expected. I had an amazing trip.

The best aspect of the trip was unquestionably our guide Eric who exercised a measure of patience which i considered nothing short of astonishing. He was exceptionally versed on a wide variety of issues, kind beyond necessity, and tolerant of idiotic and insensitive questions from some members of our group. He is an intelligent and valuable asset to your organization and whatever his compensation I'm sure he deserves more.

Your patience, Yane, is to be commended as well. Looking over our email correspondence prior to departure I recognize our failure to acknowledge simple instruction. Thank you for helping us despite this. I will recommend this trip to my colleagues and should you ever need a stateside representative I am more than happy to take that role. I have a mix of fear and hope for the future of Cuba, a beautiful country caught and abandoned in the changing global tides of the superpowers. I wish it and its people well and hope that my wife and I have the opportunity to host Eric here someday.
